FASLINE EDGE
The Lamina FASLINE Edge is Lamina’s top-of-the-range high-speed, high-capacity, FULLY AUTOMATIC sheet-to-sheet laminating machine. This unique production line has the capability to produce the two standard registration options: On-The-Fly (overlap) and Edge-To-Edge, both adjustable at the touch of a button, with consistently high precision registration (up to ± 0.2mm).
The high-capacity top feeder facilitates the loading of palletized material(s) directly into the feeder unit and, coupled with the servo-controlled FULLY AUTOMATIC non-stop bottom feeder, maximizes production output. This production line is more than capable of running a wide range of materials on the market today, including multi-ply carton/cardboard, open-fluted corrugated, foam and hardboard, as well as standard papers and substrates.
This machine features modular construction and can be manufactured in a variety of different sizes to meet customers’ needs and requirements. This single-operator, plus one assistant, production line significantly reduces costs and manpower establishment, with additional thanks to an operator-friendly touch screen display and manual adjustment to side-lays, allowing quick and easy set-up times and thereby reducing downtime.
A multitude of options are available to complement this high-profile machine. The Main machines' pre-installed hardware & software allow for the connection of additional units by simple ‘Plug & Play’. In addition, pre-installed Lamina 4.0 (fully integrated Industry 4.0)enables the end-user to connect and check the machine status and production statistics directly via their mobile device or web browser.

Automatic substrate sheet feeder
For automatic feeding of the bottom sheet. The sheets are fed by continuous running belts with vacuum and the stack is filled from the top.The feeder is designed to handle materials with a thickness from 0.6 mm up to 10 mm.
Automatic high-capacity top sheet feeder
For automatic stream feeding of top sheets. A series of suction cups pick up the top sheet from the stack and transport it to the top sheet conveyor. The feeder is designed to handle materials 150 - 450 g/m².
Precision gluing unit
The gluing units for accurate application of cold PVA glue to the upper surface of the substrates are equipped with an automatic glue dispenser directly connected to the glue container. The glue is automatically maintained at a controlled level by a sensor, and the glue unit remains fully accessible during all production modes and for glue removal. During machine standstill, the rotation speed of the rollers is reduced to a low idling speed.
Laminating station

In the Edge-to-Edge station, the top and bottom sheets are automatically controlled by the registration system.
The sheets are registered automatically at the lead edge as well as at the operator side, resulting in a registration accuracy of less than ± 0.2mm. An integrated photocell system prevents the lamination process unless both sheets are properly positioned.
Registration Press Station
This unit features an adjustable press roller system, ensuring a perfect finish for the final product.
Delivery Table
For the stacking of the finished product to pallet.
PLC Control System
The Lamina PLC control system consists of a Touch-Screen Monitor, which provides a continuous display of operating status, displays setup procedures for machine functions, activates controlled machine functions, and a comprehensive diagnostic screen with visual alarms.
